Quality and environmental awareness: This is the focus of the family-run Plangger cheese dairy in Niederndorf. Natural cheese production begins with the feed for the animals and ends with the maturing process in a gigantic rock cellar, which has space for five to six hundred tonnes of hard and semi-hard cheese.
At Plangger Delikatessen, indulgence is a top priority - and has been for more than 100 years. In 1915, Johann Plangger, the grandfather of the current owner, opened a grocery store in Pfunds in the Landeck district. The delicatessen now has several locations in Tyrol - from the Oberland to the Ötztal.
